Majestic Ballroom and Dance Center Etiquette and Cotillion

Majestic Manners course will be taught in three sessions with each session consisting of four 1.5 hour weekly classes.
I. SOCIAL ETIQUETTE	II. COMMUNICATION SKILLS	III. TABLE MANNERS
- Welcoming Behaviors - Common Courtesies - Etiquette in Public - A Good Host and Guest - Your Image - Beginning Social Dance	- Proper Greetings and Introductions - Conversation Skills - Listening Skills - Public Speaking Skills - Telephone Etiquette - Thank you Notes - Beginning Social Dance	- Table settings - Setting the Table - Eating Various Foods - Behavior at the Table - Handling the Utensils - Beginning Social Dance

All session will include teaching respect for the American Flag, National Anthem, Veterans, Military and “No one likes a litterbug”. Good social skills not only last a lifetime, but are great confidence builders and help promote self-esteem. Relationships with others are enhanced because focus is putting feelings of others first. Also coming is "Prom Preparation” class which will go into more detail and end with a dinner and dancing at a nice restaurant. Goal of this class is not only to promote manners and dance skills for Prom but to encourage camaraderie and groups of "dates" that can also dance with each other while staying for the entire Prom.
